1. Provide a loving and safe environment.

2. Participate in a new puppy obedience class. This is to provide you and your puppy with the skills needed to make this dog a joy to have as part of your household.

3. Spay or neuter within 6 months of purchase. This helps you with territorial markings around the house as well as no accidental breedings within the neighborhood.

4. If you work, have someone come at noon to let out the puppy for exercise and nourishment until you can get home.
